AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN CHARLES COUNTY

From 2023 to 2025 the Affordable Housing Workgroup examined the shortage of affordable housing in Charles County and developed recommendations to tackle current and future challenges.

The Workgroup has completed its Affordable Housing Strategy Report, and on November 18, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously to pursue the recommendations in the report.
