Need More Time to Fix a Violation?
If you've received a property maintenance violation, Charles County may give you extra time to correct the issue if you're actively working on it and keep in touch with staff.
To qualify for more time:

You must stay in touch with the County Nuisance Abatement Team and provide updates.

Visible progress must be made during the extension.

You must allow County staff to inspect your property during normal business hours to check progress.
