Our Quarterly Business Roundtables are a great opportunity for your business to get the inside scoop on what is happening in Charles County and learn about the Economic Development Department’s activities. Registration is open for our next virtual Business Roundtable on February 5, 8:30–9:45 a.m., featuring the theme “Ready: Executing Leadership, Location, and Logistics When Sudden Emergencies Strike.” Drawing on first-hand disaster response experience, this session will share a practical framework businesses of any size can use to protect their people and operations during unexpected emergencies, followed by an “Inside Scoop” update on current development projects and a “Be In the Know” segment highlighting upcoming business education and funding opportunities.

Join us for our next session featuring the theme “Fueling Growth: Capital, Innovation & Strategic Support for Small Businesses,” highlighting how businesses can access funding, technical assistance, and strategic guidance to accelerate their growth. 

Justin Ferguson, Innovation Manager, Venture Development at TEDCO, will provide an inside look at how TEDCO drives investment and innovation across Maryland’s business ecosystem, supporting early-stage companies in building and scaling. Omoré Okhomina, BRIDGE Advisor, will discuss TEDCO’s BRIDGE Program and how it connects diverse business owners with legal, accounting, and financial advisory services.
