Commissioner President Reuben B. Collins, II, Esq. ordered the Charles County flag to be lowered to half-staff effective immediately and returned to full staff at sunset on October 18, 2024 for the Funeral Services in honor of Dexter Bordes, Prominent Charles County Business Owner of RedTails Ocean Grille.
Dexter Bordes was one of the first African American developers in Charles County. A local Real Estate Developer and owner of DM&T Development. Dexter joined the CSM Foundation Board of Directors in 2019. Dexter served as president of the West Lake Business Association in Waldorf, on the Economic Development of Charles County Board of Directors, with the Conservancy of Prince George’s County
