THE BOARD OF APPEALS FOR CHARLES COUNTY, MARYLAND has been petitioned by Network Towers II, LLC requesting Special Exception use approval from the Board of Appeals for a Tower more than 50 feet tall, Use #4.06.300, as provided in Article XIII, Section 297-212, Article XXV, Section 297-415 of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance. The Applicant seeks to install a 199' monopole cell tower within a 50’x75’ fenced compound. The project site, designated as Parcel 20, within Grid 20, on Tax Map 52, consists of approximately 107.87 acres and is located within the Agricultural Conservation (AC) zone. The property tax account number is #0903016498. The address of the subject property is 9035 Ironsides Road, Nanjemoy, MD 20662.
The Board of Appeals is hereby giving notice that a Public Hearing will be held on this matter Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. The Public Hearing will be held as a “Hybrid meeting,” with limited in-person attendance. For those attending in person, the Public Hearing will be held in the Government Building Conference Room (“Blue Room”). Those wishing to join virtually may via video conference. Persons wanting more information may call 301-645-0692. The Public Hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.
