Commissioner Gilbert “B.J.” Bowling, lll (District 1) is hosting a “Farmers Feeding Charles County” Turkey Giveaway event on Saturday, Dec. 18, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Bannister Neighborhood Association (1001 Armes Drive, Waldorf). Due to a limited supply of turkeys, they are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and one turkey per family. This is a drive-through event. Recipients must be a Charles County resident.
