PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Charles County, Maryland will conduct a Public Hearing on November 2, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. to consider revisions to a proposed new Rural Legacy Area in the Nanjemoy region of the County.
The meeting will be held remotely via video teleconference. Persons wanting more information may call 301-645-0692. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.
If approved, landowners within the proposed Rural Legacy Area would be eligible for Rural Legacy grant funds to preserve farm and forest properties through conservation easements. A map of the proposed boundary can be found at https://bit.ly/3dkJUfO.

A call-in option is available to speak during the meeting. Each speaker is allotted three (3) minutes. If you are unavailable to speak when you are called, we have the right to move onto the next caller.
