LEGAL NOTICE
Application has been made to the undersigned by Richard L. Shields, Aqualand Marina Operations LLC, t/a AMO Ship Store, 9860 Orland Park Rd., Newburg, MD 20664, for a change of location within the same election district, of the premises holding a Class D – Beer & Wine (on/off sale) alcoholic beverage license.
This application is made in accordance with the Alcoholic Beverages Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, and this is to hereby give notice to the public that a hearing will be held before the Board of License Commissioners for Charles County, Maryland, on the application to determine whether the license shall or shall not be granted on the 11th day of June, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. in the County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Charles County Government Building, La Plata, Maryland. However, the Board of License Commissioners may hold this public meeting “virtually.” If so, comments from the public will be accepted by Postal mail or email to BaileyL@CharlesCountyMD.gov until June 10. The public will be able to watch this meeting on Charles County Government Television (CCGTV) which airs on Comcast Channel 95 and Verizon Channel 10 or at www.CharlesCountyMD.gov. Residents without internet service can listen to the meeting at 301-645-0500.
This application contemplates a transfer of location within the same election district, of the Class D – Beer & Wine (on/off sale) alcoholic beverage license from Richard L. Shields, Aqualand Marina Operations LLC, t/a AMO Ship Store, 9610 Orland Park Rd., Newburg, MD 20664.
Any person objecting to the issuance of this license shall make known his objections to the Board of License Commissioners at the time of the above hearing.
