Charles County Government and University of Maryland Extension Program offer Rain Barrel Workshops throughout the year. These workshops demonstrate the practical uses for rain barrels and how they reduce the impact of runoff on our local waterways and Chesapeake Bay. Participants will also learn how to install their rain barrels and how to become eligible for a tax deduction.

Discounted costs for Charles County Residents are as follows:

• Painted:
  - 60-gallon colors: dark brown, green, grey, terra cotta-$49
  
  
• Unpainted:
  - 60-gallon color: matte black-$45
  - 60-gallon color: terra cotta- $40

2. Pre-registration is required as rain barrels are limited. When registering, choose "Maryland" under State and "Charles County" under City, Town, or Organization.
3. Read 'Ordering Instructions'.
4. Make your selections, proceed to the checkout page to enter the discount code "Char725" and pay at checkout."
5. You will receive a confirmation email of your order.

Please Note:

• Due to specific logistics and handling required for rain barrels, orders are non-refundable once placed. Please review your order carefully.
• Charles County residents may purchase a limit of two (2) barrels per household each workshop.
