PUBLIC NOTICE
THE BOARD OF APPEALS FOR CHARLES COUNTY, MARYLAND has been petitioned by Impact Residential Development, LLC (a Delaware based Limited Liability Company), requesting Special Exception use approval from the Board of Appeals for a Retirement Housing Complex, as provided in Article XIII, §297-212, (Use #3.04.500) and Article XXV, §297-415 of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance. The project site, designated as Tax Map 15, Lot 2, Parcels 47, 48, and 383, and consists of approximately 5.164 acres of land, more or less and located within the Central Business (CB) Zone. The property is located off of Patchwork Place and Motley Place, which can be accessed off of Maryland Route 5/Leonardtown Road. This property is within the Highway Corridor Overlay Zone, the Development District, and Septic Tier 1. This property is also within a Priority Funding Area (PFA).
The Board of Appeals is hereby giving notice that a Public Hearing will be held on this matter Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. The Public Hearing will be held as a “Hybrid meeting,” with limited in-person attendance. For those attending in person, the Public Hearing will be held in the Government Building Conference Room (“Blue Room”). Those wishing to join virtually may via video conference. Those wanting more information may call 301-645-0692. The Public Hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.
