PUBLIC NOTICE
Zoning Map Amendment (ZMA) 22-02, Bragg Property
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Charles County, Maryland will conduct a Public Hearing on January 23, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. to consider a proposed Zoning Map Amendment (ZMA). The meeting will be held in the Government Building Conference Room (“Blue Room”) and via video teleconference. Persons wanting more information may call 301-645-0692. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.
ZMA #22-02 is a request to amend the Charles County Zoning Map to change the base zone of the subject properties (shown on St. Mary’s County Tax Map 01, Grid 16, Parcel 77 and Parcel 43) from Rural Residential (RR) to Community Commercial (CC) in accordance with Section 297-448 of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance.

Public testimony may be given either in person or virtually. Each speaker is allotted three (3) minutes. If a registered speaker is not available when called, the County has the right to move onto the next caller.
