Charles County Government receives grant funding from a variety of designated private, state, regional, and federal agencies.  In addition, the County annually appropriates budget funds to support services delivered to resident through awards to non-profit organizations.

Under the authority of the Board of County Commissioners, the responsibility for managing the non-profit grants award program is delegated to the Charles County Charitable Trust.
