Charles County Modification to Electrical Trade Licensing: PGM Notice 21-05

Board Information:

The tasks of the Board of Electrical Examiners and Supervisors is to examine the qualifications and capabilities of all persons seeking to obtain a Charles County restricted master or homeowner electrical license, enforce electrical apparatus and wiring, adopt and enforce state codes, and investigate complaints against electricians performing work in Charles County.

The Board consists of five members who serve a four-year term. The Chairman is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners on an annual basis after receiving a recommendation from the Board of Electrical Examiners and Supervisors. 

The Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at the Charles County Government building with a virtual meeting option.
