DESCRIPTION:<p>The Charles County Government Building will be closed on Friday, Nov. 18 due to law enforcement activities that may impede normal government operations. The closure will only be at the County Government Building located at 200 Baltimore Street in La Plata. All other County Government buildings will be open on a normal operating schedule.</p><p>This will impact operations within Treasury’s Office, Purchasing Office, Commissioners’ Office, and Permitting Offices. Water and sewer bills can be paid <a href="https://www.charlescountymd.gov/services/water-and-sewer-billing">online</a> or through the Government Satellite Office (3670 Leonardtown Road, Waldorf). County Government Building operations will commence on Monday, Nov. 21. </p><p>Citizens with special needs may contact the Maryland Relay Service at 711, or Relay Service TDD: 800-735-2258. </p>
